Liquified natural gas (LNG), as the name implies, is gaseous natural gas that has been processed to remove certain components, typically to the point where it is 90 percent or more methane, and then cooled to the point of liquefaction. The end product is odorless, colorless, non-corrosive, and non-toxic. It is also much more dense than natural gas - taking up about 1/600th the space that the same amount of gaseous natural gas would take up. The considerable reduction in volume makes LNG much more efficient to transport and store than regular natural gas.

AHI's dry bulk portfolio includes petroleum coke (Petcock ), and elemental sulphur (sulphur), primarily produced in the UAE. Petcock and sulphur are both by-products recovered during the oil and gas production and refining processes, alongside other products such as gasoline, diesel and LPG. Petcock is consumed globally as fuel by cement and power industries and as an input to other industrial applications such as smelting for aluminium, steel and titanium. Sulphur has wide application across a variety of different industries including phosphoric acid, ammonium sulphate, Single Super Phosphate (SSP) fertiliser, copper, nickel and uranium.
